My Diet

Previous Night

  • » Every night before going to bed, I soak 10-12 dates (khajur) in ¾ glass of water in copper vessel. Also I soak 8-10 almonds (depending on the appetite) in another cup filled with water.

Morning

  • » Next morning I drink the grinded soaked dates mixture along with 2 more glasses of water from copper vessel in 2 sessions after 15 minutes interval.
  • » Depending on the comfort level and climatic condition I either walked in my home or outside for 15 minutes. Post walk I drink another glass of water from a copper vessel before starting 'Yoganidra' session which lasts for 30 minutes. After this session, I have another glass of water before I do stretching exercises for 30 minutes. This repetitive consumption of water helps me to improve digestion and exercise improves bladder and bowel functions. This morning routine is good enough to ensure energy levels to last throughout the day for me. You can have chemical free jaggery instead of dates in the morning but keep the jagger in water whole night and drink in the morning

Breakfast (Time – 09.30 am)

  • » 1 banana
  • » 1 cup of milk with 3 dry anjir's pre-soaked for 5-10 minutes
  • » 200 ml of milk with corn flakes / Museli ( Baggery Company )
  • » 8-10 almonds followed by
  • » Final 1 cup of milk

Lunch (Time – 02.30 pm)

  • » Green Salad
  • » 2 rotis with vegetables (mostly leafy)
  • » Little rice and Dal
  • » One Fruit
  • » Drink 1 glass of sweet lime with water one hour after lunch it is good for digestion

Evening (Time 06.00 pm)

  • » 2-3 apricots
  • » Practice Yoga 15 mins before Dinner

Dinner (Time 08.30 pm)

  • » 2 rotis, vegetable, khichadi, milk.

Water

  • » Approximately 2.5 litres a day. One glass of water before and after lunch but with a one hour gap each.
